This course is part two of a three-part series on becoming a trauma-aware psychotherapist. Each course may be read online for free, with the option to purchase CE credits upon completion.
In this course I offer trauma treatment 101, taking a journey through the core trans-theoretical principles of trauma treatment. I then briefly review some of the better-known approaches to working with trauma survivors. I spend some time focusing on working with complex trauma, and on the use of adjunctive treatments for sequelae of trauma exposure.
